If I can't have a home playoff game against a team I know we can beat for the hardware with all the CCHA brass having to ride a sleeper bus to the arena, the next best thing is for the CCHA championship to be decided in a 500 seat high school barn with one team ineligible for the NCAAs.
When St. Thomas tendered their resignation from the league, Lucia should have told them NFW would the championship game ever be held in their high school rink. Either find a suitable site that's pre-approved by the league or the lower seed hosts. But, yeah, Lucia is gonna Lucia.
