I'd give him the keys any time he wants them...
Lets let him run an offense first.

He did at Kent the first season under Kenni Burns and it didn't go very well.

Chris Fenelon is the new football strength coach.

He spent the last 3 years as the guy in charge of the strength program at Temple.

Erik Campbell is leaving BG to be the assistant WR coach at Michigan.

He has been the WR coach and passing game coordinator here since Loeffler was hired in 2019. He played at Michigan and was their WR coach from 1995-2007.

I think Rich Gunnell is a guy who makes sense as a replacement, after doing some research. 38 years old, current WRs coach and Pass Game Coordinator (exact position we’re trying to fill) at Holy Cross, was the WR coach at Boston College while Loeffler was the OC there between 2016-2018. Scot loves hiring guys he has worked with before, so it fits that profile to me.

New WR coach is the Miami (FL) director of recruiting, David Cooney. Seems like he doesn’t have a previous connection to Loeffler, breaking a long tendency of hiring guys he knows. Maybe this gives us a spark on offense?

The 2026 football game at Arizona State has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Instead, we will be heading to Nebraska on September 12, 2026. We will also play @ Iowa State that year, the following week.

We still have 1 slot remaining for 2026, as well.

I've always wanted to see a game in Lincoln. Might have to make that trip.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Flying to Phoenix on labor day weekend is easier than lincoln on a regular weekend but memorial stadium is a lot more prestigious.

For the team the good news is they can avoid heat stroke like the ucla game. Tempe most likely would have been above 100 degrees. Bad news is back to back p4 opponents. I'm happy we still have two beatable p4 teams though

Robert Armand, the CBs coach on Loeffler’s staff, announced today that he’s not being retained as part of the new staff.

He's getting P4 offers so unless BG or Eddie can sway him, small chance he's coming here.

In a video by President Rogers of Coach George speaking to some high schoolers visiting campus today, Eddie mentioned that his son said he’s coming to be here with him.

So… he’s not in the portal yet. But you have to imagine he’ll be coming.
