David Cooney, who Loeffler hired as the WRs coach about a week before taking the Eagles job, is not being retained.

Max Warner, BG’s QB coach and OC since 2019 (playcaller since 2022) is also not being retained.

Are we retaining any of the coaches? So far it sounds like they are all being let go.

Nothing official yet. We’re still waiting on word on about 5 of them.

I have to imagine most are gone.

Several guys still remain on staff. I'd imagine there's a little bit of retention for the sake of spring ball. Plus, honestly not sure if the staff at TSU was as big as it is at BG.

Tough situation for everyone involved regardless on both sides of the coin. I know everyone is excited, but can't help to think this is going to be severely detrimental to fall camp and the start of the season.

The main guy I want to see retained is Alex Bayer. I’m fine with a refresh pretty much everywhere else.

Brian White has shifted back to tweeting about being a Falcon in the past few days after he had started tweeting about Marshall (where his son is a coach). So nothing official, but it seems like he might be among those retained. He’s among 4 assistants from the previous staff still listed on the coaches page - Brian White, Alex Bayer, Greg Nosal, and Derrick Jackson.

Scoop reporting that those four are indeed being retained.

Renewed my football season tickets today. They are adding chairbacks to the lower portion of the Sebo Center in conjunction with Party Deck tickets. Couldn't pass up that opportunity. Girl on the phone said they have been busy since Eddie was hired.

I might have to jump on that even being in Chicago. That sounds awesome.
