That is a cool story....

Eddie George's TSU DC, Brandon Fisher, is following him here to BG to be in the same role. Son of former Titans HC, Jeff Fisher, with experience at FCS, FBS, and NFL levels.

McNutt, Joe Bowden, Clyde Simmons also confirmed. Have seen Travis Partridge mentioned for OC/QB but nothing firm yet.

McNutt has deep Ohio ties. A lot of former pro players on this staff with impressive resumes.

Interesting hire:

Coach George is hiring Dewayne Alexander. He was the head coach at Tennessee Tech from 2018-2023. Last year, he was the Assistant head coach/run game coordinator/offensive line coach at Senawee.

Coach George had hired him at Tennessee State as his OL coach earlier this month.

And… he’s going to coach tight ends and serve as assistant head coach.

Comments on social media seem to really like this hire. Definitely not a bad thing to have another voice on the staff with head coaching experience. Bayer likely moves to special teams only then with this move.

Travis Partridge changed his profile picture on Twitter to a BG Football logo, so I think it's safe to assume he is coming along.

And with that... I think we have a full traditional staff? Head coach + 10 assistants.

Eddie George

Alex Bayer
Brian White
Derrick Jackson
Greg Nosal
Travis Partridge
Brandon Fisher
Richard McNutt
Clyde Simmons
Joe Bowden
