They're not the same as the chair backs added to the Ice Arena, are they?jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 2:40 pm Renewed my football season tickets today. Girl on the phone said they have been busy since Eddie was hired.

I really disliked those. They just weren't comfortable and were "too far" straight up to sit in, so I ended up bumping over a section during intermission when I had tickets there. Did you have a take?pdt1081 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 8:17 pmThey're not the same as the chair backs added to the Ice Arena, are they?jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 2:40 pm Renewed my football season tickets today. I sat in one for 30 seconds after my kid's skating lessons one day. Glad they didn't do the whole arena in them. Kids didn't like them either.

Given the sitting area at the Sebo Center are not true bleachers like at Slater, going to guess they'll be different. Time will tell.

Re: 2024-25 Offseason
I usually renew my season tix in late spring, early summer. This year, it was two days after Coach George was hired. lol.
And those chairbacks in Slater are horrible. Almost makes me long for the salmon chairbacks at Perry Stadium.

Spring scrimmage recap. The vibes seem really good.
The Sebo Center chairbacks also look the same as the ones at The Slate.

Eddie and Urban are doing an NIL fundraiser down in Columbus on May 10th. Invitation only, unfortunately.

General news, but Alan Haller has been let go as the AD at Michigan State. They'd be silly not to call DVDM and see if he has any interest. Bears watching.

It was announced today that Urban Meyer will be returning to campus to be recognized for his College Football Hall of Fame induction at the home opener on Thursday, August 28th. Pretty cool, I think it's probably been an awful long time since he was in the building for a game.

The Battle of I-75 has an official sponsor...Fremont Federal Credit Union. As if things couldn't get more absurd.

Re: 2024-25 Offseason
Just heard directly from a recruit that he's got BG behind Miami and Toledo on his list of schools because our facilities are becoming out of date. He has good relationships with the staff and had a lot of good things to say about them, but that kind of thing matters to kids now. It's been 20 years, I think it's time for the department to consider updating the Sebo Center.
