St. Francis announced yesterday they are dropping from D-1 to D-3, even after making the tournament this year. I think we’ll see this in some of the lower division one conferences a lot more in the next 2-3 years.

For the life of me cannot figure out what that kid did in HS to come out with his recruiting profile.

In an entire season where we had a starting PG miss the back half of MAC season, had our second guard play with broken hands all season, and had our 3rd guard miss the front half of the season...All that opportunity sitting there and dude averaged 3.4 ppg!?

Dunno, best of luck to him, but saw nothing to show how he ended up at Arizona St.

It had to be his athleticism that got him to Arizona St. Very early on you could tell he had no confidence in his shot and his defense was not good for as quick and athletic as he was. Hopefully, this leads to adding a true point guard. Clearly they are targeting centers in the portal. But no news is good news on Khayat possibly being around.

Most likely - kid develops earlier than his classmates, dominates athletically, gets on some way-too-early prospect rankings lists, plays high level AAU ball, continues to rely on athleticism and doesn't develop game but has the right connections, stays high on the ranking lists, big school has an open schollie and takes a chance,

All speculation, but I've definitely seen the above scenario play out plenty of times.
