I saw earlier this week that the Toledo regional is sold out except for the school allotments which, based on MSU/OSU, shouldn’t be a problem.

Still some seats available on Ticketmaster, but not many. I snagged three yesterday. As a Red Wings fan, can't pass up an opportunity to see Augustine in person.

Daniels? Seriously?
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

So, so disrespectful to have Daniels in this conversation. I get it, it's his final season, but come on. They had a 13 win season. That kind of year gets people fired around here. We improved by 5 wins this year and Willy isn't even in the conversation? Absurd.

I’m fine with Daniel’s, it’s clearly a throwaway.

It’s probably Rico which is so on brand for the CCHA. Give the COY award to a guy who couldn’t wait to get out of the league.

Edit: And I think this is a coaches vote.

It's just looks like pure laziness. The two in the final game, and the one retiring from a job nobody would fire him from. Rico was picked to win the regular season, and needed a late season winning streak just to manage third. Raboin (or however you spell it) was a tie for 6th in the preseason coachs' poll and managed to pull out a second place finish. At least Strand took the 4th place preseason team to a regular season title.

And I'm not even arguing that Willy should be a finalist here. He managed to improve a spot from the preseason poll. Not exactly earth shattering in this league.

Huntington Center is selling standing room tickets for the NCAA Regionals, if anyone is considering going last minute. All the resale tickets are double face value.

The finalists at Ferris included:
Adam Krug - Adrian HC, Livonia, MI native
Cody Chupp - Duluth assistant, Big Rapids, MI native, Ferris alumnus
Tommy Hill - St. Lawrence assistant, Portage, MI native, Ferris alumnus
Trevor Large - Canisius HC, Ferris alumnus

I think it's fascinating that they hired the guy with no connection to the state or the university, when the rest of their pool of finalists looked like this.

Krug is currently an assistant coach with Bakersfield in the AHL. Doesn't realize he had moved on from Adrian this season. Depending on what Ferris was offering, quite possible he was going to take a pay cut for the job. LIU was much improved this season, and a fair amount of their players have entered the portal today.

Portal is officially opened to undergrads. Nothing real shocking yet. Bunch of Tech (5) and NMU (10) players. One of the Tech guys had 12 points this season, another 21, the rest are single digits. None of the NMU guys cracked double digits in points.

Elsewhere, the only interesting one even closely related to BG is Tanyon Bajzer from Miami. 14GP, zero points. His brother Camden is committed here.

Seems to be fairly organized here:

Not surprising, Santa Juana, Schankula, Lokkeberg are in the portal.

I think Santa Juana can be of help to some team. Ay Ziggy, guys.

And then both B1G schools lost and demand cratered
