Yeah, dining services isn't that great of a group when you think of the "flexfunds." They signed a horrible contract then passed their screw up on to the students.

Last year, in the GT located in Mac, a box of water (30 bottles) cost $30. They charged you by the bottle instead of the amazing rate they got it for.

Can you tell that dining services on campus pisses me off?
I'll give them SOME credit, they lowered some prices this year, but thats because they aren't in debt as much as they were last year. Still, they charge WAY too much, such as chargin 1.25 for a CANDY BAR.

Dining Services has a way to go, but they are getting much better and it is thanks to one person, Fail Finnan. She took over Dining Services right before the start of the year last year. The horrible contracts you have talked about would have the stickey fingerprints of Linda Newman, Driector of Residence Life (and Dining Services at that time) and Ed Whipple, Vice President of Student Affairs. We can all thank those two for this mess because they didn't listen to what they were told by others. Flex Funds are necessary, but were put in place in the worst way. Gail has helped in lowering prices and continues to work on increasing the amount of Flex Funds students recieve and bring them more into balance.

Ah yes, I forget about the lower prices of the Midwest. Those were the days...

i saw those "Beat Wisconsin" shirts, and they look like they were just ripped from an OSU bookstore. they're gray shirts with white lettering with red trim. it would have been nice to see them in brown and orange, i might have bought one then.

in all fairness though, i don't know what it says on the back (if anything). but from the shop window, i really got the impression they were OSU t-shirts.

That is disgusting! I know Wisconsin has those colors but I will never wear that color combination proudly. I'll stick with my orange BG football jersey over any day!
