Not unusual I do not really count on such an early commitment lasting til signing day especially a higher graded player. I think the earliest commits to BG the last 3 years have decommitted for some reason or another usually due to a subsequent offer at a P5 school.

Eddie has his first HS commit.

Travis Robertson, a 6’7 offensive tackle from West Bloomfield, MI, has committed to BG. 3-star, and his recruit rating of .8500 would be top 20 in program history.

He held offers from WMU, EMU, Colorado, Kent State, Kentucky, Louisville, Toledo, UMass, and West Virginia.

Wow. Two big gets. Clearly the NIL fund has some positive growth. Mock is a legit P5 talent. Had been a Wisconsin commit before they pulled the offer (after getting a commit from a higher rated QB). Someone who could see the field as a freshman.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

My guess is WR Isaiah Hayward of Toledo Whitmer. 247 shows him as Warm and he took a visit to BG on June 6. I also consulted Karnak and the Amazing Kreskin on this. :)

The new staff is EXTREMELY active on social media when it comes to recruiting. McNutt mentioned “4 new Falcons” while Fenelon, Jackson, and Alexander are hinting at being on fire tonight. I feel like I’ve seen a ton of that this month - they might have some guys in the bag who are waiting to pop as commitments. But I’m feeling good about their momentum on the trail right now.

Gives me Terion Stewart vibes. Very tough to bring down, not blazing speed but enough acceleration to be dangerous. BG was his first official visit so definitely one to keep an eye on as a potential P5 flip if he ends up having a big year.

Teammate of QB commit Jarin Mock and they seem to be buddies, so good chance we can hang on to him. Nice wing span, good first step. Whenever his composite ranking comes through, I'd be surprised if he isn't one of our top 10 rated recruits of all time (like Mock).
