Hawkins appropriately above AND separate from the other three.

Jokes aside, I really hope BG welcomes him back when the time comes. One of the bigger what ifs in my time as a BG fan - he could have been a senior on that 2019 team if the injury he had when he left had forced him out all year (he missed all year, but that was a rule for transfer at the time). Even if he couldn't have been on the 2019 team, the 2017 team was an overtime goal in Houghton away from breaking through. And the 2018 team won 23 games without him - imagining would they would've been with him is another big what if. He's a 2x ECHL MVP in our backyard and he WANTS to be in Northwest Ohio. I sincerely hope he is recognized as a Falcon when the time comes, even if he was only here for 2 years.
Pretty sure he was recognized when the rest of the players are there this past season. He regularly wears a Nike BG hoodie when doing interviews, and was in Slater's suite with Spezia, Craggs, and Kruse (maybe others) during one of the Tech playoff games. Pretty sure he knows he welcomed back anytime.

Wish they would have included Nodler on that graphic even though he didn't make the playoff roster. He was pushed out by the return of an AHL player or two.

I've talked to Hawk about BG. Him leaving was nothing personal, had a better opportunity at Northeastern. He loved his time here.

Wasn't sure I saw this posted previously, but Santa Juana is playing for University of Toronto (USports) next season.

I really liked his effort, he gave everything he had out there and started making the lineup more consistently towards the end of the season. Wish him the best!

Surprised he ended up in the EIHL. No offense to their league, but it seems pretty low for him. I figured he had a shot at an ECHL contract.

European leagues pay more than the ECHL does.

Would not have guessed that for the British league. Good to know! Thanks

ECHL salary cap is $14,600 per week, if you max out on a 20-man roster it breaks down to $730/wk per player. Most guys end up working 2nd jobs during the season to help make ends meet.
