Two plays in a row our receivers got mauled by UC defenders. Jyrin Johnson at least made the catch on one of them, but considering what has been called on BG, seems to be like they are letting UC get away with a lot.
(Also, this is not be blaming the result on officiating. They'd be kicking our ass regardless.)

This game had shown me Eddie still has a lot to learn as a coach. You can't play coward ball and punt twice on 4th and short in opponent territory and expect to win against a P4 school.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

We can't put a full drive together but we've only had one 3 and out.
Fully agree that we came to keep it close and not win. It's disappointing. Getting an early 4th down could have gave us some momentum

That field goal is going to really come in handy. Just go for it.

Playing not to get blown out typically gets you blown out anyway.

4th and 2, call a fullback dive? Atrocious. This isn't 1995.

It’s Tressel ball 30 years later. This version has no QB, much less talent, and the most identifiable player is a cat.

Yeah that was awful. Pyne can run a little bit, not sure we’re aware of that.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 9:38 pm 4th and 2, call a fullback dive? Atrocious. This isn't 1995.

If pyne would keep it on a rare occasion he would have space to run and then keep the defense more honest

It’s still early to have opinions on this coaching staff but man that’s a head scratcher.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 9:38 pm 4th and 2, call a fullback dive? Atrocious. This isn't 1995.
