I think we’re just a solid football team, man. That’s is an excellent 23-13 win.

Happy Homecoming, Falcons!

Good win. Horribly sloppy by both teams but a win is a win and that’s a pretty solid OOC opponent.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Clean up the penalties but that's a good win that will build confidence for conference play

He went to the locker room with a few minutes left in the game, but nothing looked serious to me.

Gutsy win. Physical, nasty defense. Stayed positionally sound pretty much all night against an offense that thrives on deception. Won them the game.

Coach said Pyne had shoulder tightness during the week and it showed. Kudos for gutting it out. All around great day on campus. Biggest crowd in a decade. Lots of positive momentum with the university and this program.

The text book handling of the option on that 4th down play was chefs kiss defense.

This is fun

I sat ten rows behind the team bench and all I can say is it’s so refreshing to have a coaching staff that is fiery. It was so nice to see Eddie have to be restrained because he was going after the refs. It was so nice to see him running up and down the sideline firing the team up. The entire coaching staff gets these kids fired up. You can tell they love the staff. That is the most energy I have seen on our sideline in many years. We physically beat the tar out of our opponent. It wasn’t always pretty or exciting but our kids clearly wanted it more, The effort was something I don’t remember seeing und the last staff. I am sold on this regime and my only negative thought is they probably wont be here long.

First off, the atmosphere at the Doyt yesterday was fantastic. The marching band is incredible. The team is what they are going to be. Tight on defense. The offense is going to ride or die on how well Drew Pyne can throw the football. Pettaway and Roberts should get the majority of the snaps at running back and we should be trying to get the ball into R.J. Garcia's hands at every opportunity.

The team is what it's going to be. We're going to be a team that grinds out wins.

Jackson Kleather earned Special Teams POW honors. Second time already this season. 3-3 on field goals - two from 48 yards and one from 50.
