Lack of size is noticeable too.

The talent gap is glaring between these two teams but do we really need to be playing prevent defense?

That offsetting late hit was a joke

Their size and speed at WR would eat this secondary for lunch. Gotta play zone or else they'd be getting cooked over the top.

Okay, all I'm seeing today is an undisciplined team that lacks coaching in fundamentals. Not what you want, even with a first year coach. The special teams play, in particular, has been abysmal.

And this offense is going nowhere without a QB that is a legit passing threat. So far as I can see, there is nobody on the roster to be that QB. Pyne is (mostly) bad at throwing the ball and Anderson is basically only a running QB...so why bother bringing him in as part of a package? Teams know he's going to run.

Pyne has a below average arm and even worse vision. I believe we have better receivers than they get credit for. A lot of them run open but the ball doesn’t find them. It’s hard to fault the staff because they didn’t have much of a chance to recruit and get players in here.

I see a lack of fundamentals today, especially on the defense which is surprising. The size and speed of Louisville definitely has them on their heels. Pyne obviously needs time to throw or else he's Matt Schilz 2.0. They were never going to win today but execution has been lacking on both sides of the ball.

Why is it so hard for us to find a good QB? Is it because we just don’t have the money?

Yeah it really doesn't matter at the end of the day. It was a guaranteed loss. Very sloppy though and that's what should be concerning heading into MAC play next week.

Who knows how things would have transpired if Lamson didn't leave. Need to give this staff some grace. Bringing in Pyne was a necessity after spring ball.

We're losing the key plays today. Without the punt return touchdown and two picks this is a competitive game on the scoreboard.

Hoping this is more a 2013 Indiana game than anything to worry too much about
