Tough day at the office. Lost on the field and in the impressions without pudge. Congrats to Nostradamus BGSU33 for predicting a program who willingly hired Mike Jinks would lose today. Our decade long failure at football continues. Meanwhile out east Kit Hughes and Holy Cross dropped to 0-5 with an absolute choke as a 14 point favorite. Somethings are so predictable.

One measly win in a decade for BG in this series. It’s a complete and utter mismatch. Even poor old FCS Gardner-Webb scored 15 more points and had over 130 more yards than BG did. Pathetic. It’s been a decade of Contenders vs Pretenders with no end in sight. The uptick is Ohio continues to produce EASY money. Each year this game is a lock and it’s stress free and never in doubt. Ohio keeps winning, BG keeps losing, and the Bobcats keep printing money. It’s good to know you can still reliably count on some things in football to produce predictable results.
You went to BG so who is that you are putting down exactly? You really need to find better things to do with your life but I’m sure you will not.
First off, I went to both schools, I have degrees from both. And second, I'm not simply putting BG down, but what I am calling out are the shortcomings. And unfortunately, there's a lot of them. Yeah, I get it, some people on here want to just sip the orange Koolaid and talk about nice, fluffy things, and stick their head in the sand about anything different than that, rather than facing the ugly truth. But I don't sip the orange Koolaid, I don't walk on egg shells, and I'm not worried about hurting feelings when stating the glaring and obvious truth. I call it like I see it, and what I've been now seeing now - for a DECADE - is Ohio is far superior than BG and it's backed with facts. OU simply owns BG and it is proven year after year after year with the same type of results. BG continue to be be stagnant while Ohio continues to excel. They're both in the same state, they're both in the same conference, they have somewhat similar resources - but they're far from equal. Ohio started putting this thing together about 20 years ago and you could see this train coming. And now it's here - and has been here - and Ohio sits at the top of the MAC. Even when they haven't won the MAC, they were still arguably the beat team in the MAC. Ohio is the poster program for consistency and success in this league for the past 20 years. They are always a contender and always reload. Meanwhile, for the better part of a decade now, BG continues to flounder along. Bowling Green has become the modern version of Eastern Michigan. BG, like EMU, is a program that's better than several teams below it in the MAC, but not as good as the ones above it. Just a mediocre, middle-of-the-pack MAC program at best that steals a win here or there in the league play, but won't ever challenge for the MACC. Me talking about Ohio kicking BG's @ss all time is a fact whether anyone likes it or not on here. Honestly, it sucks being right all the time about this topic because I'd like to see it stop. It is what it is whether that ruffles feathers on here or not. Sometimes the truth hurts, and this is a yearly example of it.
GO BG!!!

It’s your incessant need to post it over and again that is what people find annoying. We get it, OU has a winning record at worst pretty much every year since Solich took over. Hell I like OU, my brother went there, my nephew goes there and I probably would’ve went there had I not gone to BG. It’s a great campus and school. OU has a better football team than us. We get it bro.

And big bad OU follows up that win against BG by letting Ball State score 20 unanswered in the second half to lose to the Cardinals in Muncie

Surely the goalposts were leveled, coach drenched in Gatorade and the field was stormed in Muncie today for a monumental victory over the vaunted Bobcats right? This might be bigger than App st over Michigan when we look back.

The Northwestern of the MAC beats the Ohio State of the MAC. Some are saying that it's time to peel Solich out of the bar and back to the sidelines.

Meh, just a bump in the road. Miami beat Ohio in the regular season last year and then got slaughtered by Ohio in the MACC. Most teams that make it to Detroit get there with a conference loss or two along the way. What it boils down to one word - Detroit. Ohio will get there, BG will not. What's more concerning is Ball State also appears better than BG. I actually thought BG would be better than Ball State this year, but after seeing Ball State beat the same Ohio team that BG had no shot at beating, that doesn't look to be the case.

Before he drivels, he should remember BG owns OU in men's AND women's hoops.
