The bench seemed to get shortened for part of the third, but not the direction you'd expect. Seemed like Blake, Lonegran, and Simanovics were on the ice for the majority of the third. Not sure Stjernberg played after the 5 minute mark of the third. Almost like they concentrated on getting ice time for the new guys, and guys you'd expect to rotate in and out of the lineup.

This is what I was hoping for. Get all the new guys a lot of playing time, let them learn the speed of the game and have them make mistakes where it doesn't matter, and then get a bunch of video for them to review. I felt like our PP and PK were almost entirely the new guys. Rymon looked pretty good on the PP, they tried to set up his one timer all night on it
Bring back the glory!

Many of these issues can be resolved some were a result of younger guys playing. However, the utter lack of scoring IS a concern. One goal verse Robert Morris, they will be one of the bottom 15 teams in college hockey and we got shutout on the power play and racked up only one goal. A lot of hype with recruiting, hopefully some of those guys can stick it in the net.
