Re: Toledo is coming
Man, what a rush. I have fallen in love with beating Toledo. We absolutely own this rivalry right now, and I don't think we're giving it back anytime soon.

Hey UofToledoFans,
Genuinely, thank you for coming to our board. The rivalry banter is always fun, and I appreciate you coming (mostly) in peace.
I'm sure we'll see you next year - with the trophy on our sideline once again. 697 days and counting...

The fact BGSU stayed in that game at all is testament to the coaching staff. Incredible job to scheme up some touchdowns too. The defense in the second half was incredible. Not many more words to say hahahaha. I love it

That was an outstanding game. I love what is happening with BG football right now. They won today basically with a lot of scheming and smoke and mirrors. Hopefully, Eddie can take this momentum and kill it in recruiting to keep things moving in the right direction.
Not sure any other BG team comes back from this deficit (history says no)...but they never gave up today.

That was incredible. What a day to be a Falcon. That UT O-Line was just beaten in the second half, those guys looked tired in the huddle after every play. Proud of how physical this Falcons team played

For those not watching on TV today that was our first 21 point comeback since 2004. Had 75 straight losses in that scenarioFalconwriter wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 9:22 pm That was an outstanding game. Re: Toledo is coming
I was at the game. Anderson looked terrible and he isn’t the long term solution. He’s Anthony Turner all over again. We won this game because our defense stepped up big time and UT couldn’t stop committing penalties. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I hope we get Pyne back. Anderson threw everything in the dirt or way high. Heck, we all commented in our section that Garcia had the best looking pass of the day.
In all seriousness, I’m thrilled we won. Maybe Anderson can find something useful with his throwing. I certainly hope he can, because wearing a boot on the sideline tells me this will be a few weeks for Pyne.

Update?guest44 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 09, 2025 11:38 am As a 10.5 point underdog at home to Toledo, let's continue to accept the new standard at BGSU of, it could be much worse. Shift the focus to a cat, trash talk about letting bands play, and keep moving forward. All hail to the king of impressions, King Rodney.
Pudge was on Gameday, AND we let their band play, AND we beat Toledo.

Re: Toledo is coming
Toledo is now 0-2 since they disrespected the FMB. Maybe they should start caring about the band a little more if they’d like to ever win in this rivalry again. Bowling Green is currently running circles around the entire university.UofToledoFans wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 7:12 pmGood for BG by thinking theyre taking the high road by letting their rival play... The fanbase could give two craps outside of actual band members, and theyre used to not playing if the circumstances prevent it from happening.BillyLP wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 3:29 pmI'm not sure this is making the point you're intending it to make.UofToledoFans wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 2:55 pmIt's crazy our band traveled to Kentucky and wasn't allowed to play pre game or at half time on the field. Its almost like the home team calls the shots? Weird.

Re: Toledo is coming
By the time he left..Turner was an integral part of our offense as a slash. If Anderson becomes that..ok by me.
He wasn't perfect by any stretch..but he made some really good throws (TD to Harris was a dime) including that long pass that drew a PI on UT...that was a TD if the receiver isn't grabbed

Re: Toledo is coming
He settled down enough in the second half to execute on a handful of plays to help win the game. Had a couple nice runs to extend drives and threw a good ball to Harris. His only turnover was essentially an arm punt so he took care of the ball for the most part. I agree that Pyne is easily more talented and seasoned. Eddie said Drew could have gone today but it would have resulted in more damage, meaning he gets numbed up if he played.footballguy51 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 10:16 pm I was at the game. Cam Pettaway deserves a lot of credit for doing his best Taron Keith impression today. His score at the end of the first half was huge for momentum and kept BG in the game.

Those assholes should have let the band play last year. The curse of the marching band lives on.
