Wisely chose to go play golf on a gorgeous fall Saturday rather than attend the game. Listening to Todd/Gibby they were pretty harsh about the entire BG team.

Comments about clearly never having their head in the game (penalties). Saying it looked as though they ran LESS of the offense in Anderson's 2nd start than his first.

Tough to win if you commit 125 penalty yards and lost the TO battle 2-0

Honestly such a genius move, it was a gorgeous day for a round yesterday.

Have to agree and I don't care for golf. We were living in the ut game while getting pushed around all day by CMU. What a letdown and all the penalties were unreal. Coach George did not have this team prepared...period.

Gibby didn't mince words and I love that about him. Every word was justified.

After a couple days to think on it, I'm frustrated with the performance, but still feel like the team is on a better track than most of us guessed at the beginning of the season. I thought we'd be 2-5 at this point, with the wins flip-flopped between UT and CMU, and the Liberty game being a loss. 3-4 with one of the most inexperienced rosters in the country and inconsistent/injury prone QB play is not a sky is falling situation. Add in the loss of Pringle, who was proving to be one of the best LBs in the MAC, and I'm okay with where we are. Also the atmosphere at the Doyt this year has been the best in decades, which is a win for the program, even if this game was a loss.

Things have got to get better with QB play and offensive play calling, no doubt. Given Coach George's tone, I actually think Travis Partridge will be looking for a new job after the season if that aspect doesn't get better. On field attitude was also pretty embarrassing. I haven't seen that many unsportsmanlike penalties in a game since the Jinks era, but I'll chalk that up to being surprised/embarrassed and the punch in the mouth. I don't think that will happen again.

The TLDR is basically this; Saturday sucked. We're still in a better position than I thought we would be. Having three crowds of 23k+ in a season is unbelievable, and despite guest's frustration with the lean into impressions, it's the right thing to do. It will bring more NIL money, which the staff can use as part of their recruiting, regardless of how gimmicky the path is.

On to Kent State.
