Good Luck on those ACT's. I only took 'em once and did fairly well, but I've seen some pretty smart people choke on tests like that too.
No, they're not pass fail, but there are threshholds that you must reach to get into universities or gain certain schollies. If I were hoping for a scholarship that requires a 30 on the ACT, I would consider anything under that a failure.

I still have my ACT scores from 1979. For some reason my mother had them in a box along with pictures, greeting cards etc... I found them when we were cleaning out her house after she passed away
I did a 26 overall, good for 90th percentile nationally. My math score really hurt me.
So there you go golfer...beat a 26 and you can call me "dumbass"

Does that mean I can call you a "dumbass"?Flipper wrote:I still have my ACT scores from 1979. For some reason my mother had them in a box along with pictures, greeting cards etc... I found them when we were cleaning out her house after she passed away

Yeah I was wondering about that to. 29 for me. I missed one question on the science section, however it was enough to keep me from getting a 30.hammb wrote:

Mmmmmmm, witty standardized-test banter. Is there anything better??
I got a 29 first and only time I took it. 2.9 GPA in highschool. America's education system rocks!! I just wanted to see if I could match my GPA!! All you 4.0 students. HAH! In your face, I matched mine and you couldn't!!
