The only thing worse than shooting 1-12 from 3 is giving up on shooting them.

But a couple of steals have us back to within 7. I'm fairly certain we aren't winning this game if we don't make a couple of threes.

Why isn’t Wol getting minutes? Is he a defensive liability? He can at least sink some threes.

In an interesting exchange early in the first half after he got scored on with 2-3 back door cuts Simon in frustration went to sub him out. Wol seemed to act like he intentionally didn't hear him and would not leave the floor. I think Simon even had to say Wol get off the floor twice before he would leave.

He didn't play the rest of the half after that.

Wol did get 2 quick fouls in the first half, hence the sitting. He came back late in the half but briefly. Definitely not his best game defensively but I wouldn't look into it too much beyond the foul trouble.

The silver lining, this was probably about as bad as this team can play and we at least kept it competitive against a top 200 KenPom team.

The past 4-5 years, starting 1-16 from 3pt and committing 18 turnovers would have resulted in a 30 point loss to that team.

Still believe this is a top-5 team in the MAC if we stay healthy.
