@ Kansas State (12/1)
Re: @ Kansas State (12/1)
This has been a fantastic game though. No complaints on officiating to me at all. Both teams playing hard. Lots of contact in the paint and both teams have missed a lot of bunnies.
The difference this far is BG really whooped their switching man defense so they had to switch it up.

He was a pure net negative MAC player.
I can't believe somebody paid him NIL to come play in a major conference. Nobody that knows anything about basketball watched him and thought he could play up. Had to be a box score recruitment

What a game
Re: @ Kansas State (12/1)
Folks, we’ve got a legit team this year!
Re: @ Kansas State (12/1)
I haven't seen a BG team play half court offense this well in a very very long time. Major props to see them execute so well in a game where they couldn't generate the crazy turnovers they have most of the year.
This group will generate good looks. If they can make the open 3s like they did tonight they're gonna be a damned tough out.

Extremely short bench. That's not sustainable. Need someone to grab the 8th and 9th spot at least.

To be clear my first comment wasn't a complaint just a different style from what we normally get which helped the flow of the game. Second comment was a complaint but that was more making an out of position call which we overturnedhammb wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 9:49 pm This has been a fantastic game though. I can see shrinking to 7 in a big game like this with 4 days off before your next game but Simon historically doesn't play more than 8-9 going back to his SUU days. I'm ok with that as long as we stay healthy.Globetrotter wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 9:57 pm Extremely short bench. That's not sustainable. Need someone to grab the 8th and 9th spot at least.
I am curious if the other guards are nursing something we don't know about? Leach has averaged over 10 mins per game, and Kimbrough can play a little too.

Did a great job handling the press late.

WHAT A WIN! This forum barely existed the last time we beat a P4 team. Wire to wire win and absolutely fantastic and composed performance from the whole team

Virginia Tech. Weirdly during their terrible 2005-2006 season.
