Women beat up on the Div II Thorobreds 103-32. They lead 27-0 after one and 55-8 at the half. Gotta think holding them to 8 for a half is some kind of record or close to it.
Notably...FR Sofia Moschen played 15 minutes and scored 12 pts including 3-6 from 3. She's an intriguing player...

Pointless game. Can't learn anything from that.

Yup. Only benefit is getting the newer players into game action. Other than that it's a game to simply bolster your win count by one.

Nice to get the bench some minutes in case you have to play those kids later due to injury, but no...game like this don't do much beyond that

According to the writeup on BGSUfalcons.com it is in fact a record. The old record for low points in a half was in 2015 when BG held Miami to 9 in the first half. The odd thing is Miami scored 44 in the 2nd half of that game and only lost by 13.

Disappointing to see BG continue to feed on cupcakes. Will this prepare them for the MAC? Sheeeeez!
For the love of the game. . .

Seems like we played number of games where we're either Godzilla (Defiance College) or the buildings in Tokyo (South Carolina). Not sure you learn much from being either

I am still down on Chmiel. He's really only got Donahue and Kohler who can consistently score. The MAC season will tell the tale for this team. I am not expecting much. But surprise me!!!!

Extremely skeptical, but rooting HARD for them to prove me wrong. I would love nothing more than for Chmiel to find success here, because that means BG is winning basketball games.
