the north pole of the magnet points to the geomagnetic north pole (a south magnetic pole) located in Canada above the Artic Circle.

north poles repel north poles

south poles repel south poles

north poles attract south poles

south poles attract north poles

the force of attraction or repulsion varies inversely with the distance squared

the strength of a magnet varies at different locations on the magnet

magnets are strongest at their poles

magnets strongly attract steel, iron, nickel, cobalt, gadolinium

magnets slightly attract liquid oxygen and other materials

magnets slightly repel water, carbon and boron and so on

Now explain to me Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton.

Billy Bob likes hot women

Angelina likes ugly men

Billy Bob is ugly

Angelina is hot

They got married

Angelina woke up

Billy Bob looked for another hot woman and made Bad Santa

Angelina went braless

Some things are beyond the grasp of the scientific mind.... We must assume that the Thornton /Jolie relationship is a cosmic joke from God himself.

Either that or Angelina wears beer goggles...

If it makes you feel anybetter flip, I got a 25. It was good enough to get me in here, so that's all I really cared about.

I got a 3.986 for my cumulative.

Would you believe that the only B I got for my HS career was actually in gym class :) Stupid Gym teacher made us run and timed it. You got graded on your time, and how many pushups, pullups, situps, etc. Really sucked for us "non-athletic" types.

Ha! The only B I got in highschool was in gym too. The teacher was a tennis nut.... I had never picked up a racket before in my life. Fun.
We had weighted classes to make up for it though... 'course I still managed to only be 7th in the class with a 4.061.... yeah.... we were freaks.

Goats and me, we're like THIS! And I could pick your nose with a back-hoe and never touch anything but booger!!

I once got a 27 on a history exam because I wrote an essay on the great Roman conquerer Berzerkus who went berzerk and killed people left and right. While my teacher enjoyed the story and the creativity, he couldn't give me credit for it. :-)

HS bored me...well, the part that didn't involve driving around in my big green Chevelle, chasing girls and playing basketball wherever/whenever I could...that part of HS was good.

And let me guess, the gym teacher kept writing on gym teacher message boards how "this kid is so slow", and "this kid struggles with girl push-ups" and "this kid has no place in a high school gym class", and now we're all seeing the years of pent up rage. It makes sense now.

My gym teacher was a homosexual woman. Fairly certain her name was NOT Tim Beckman.
