Well, well, well…look who just keeps on winning and winning and winning! OHIO!!! They just won their SEVENTH bowl game in a row since 2017!!! That’s two more bowl wins than BG has in its HISTORY!!! That’s right - two more than BG has in its entire HISTORY! And you’re ignorant enough to make a comment that Ohio is going to slide back into the abyss?! LMFAO! You mean the place where BG has been for over a DECADE now?! I was never much of a fan of Brian Smith to begin with and Ohio will be better with whoever replaces him! Did you just see how Ohio stuffed the hell outta UNLV in this bowl? John Hauser will continue Ohio’s dominance over BG and keep contending year in and year out in the MAC. Meanwhile, BG finished tied for 11th in the MAC this year! ELEVENTH!!! That’s beyond pathetic! BG finished only ahead of UMass - the worst team in the country! BG has had ZERO MAC Championships, ZERO MACC appearances and ZERO bowl wins in the last DECADE!!! Those are FACTS! BG has also had EIGHT losing seasons in the last TEN years! BG “IS” the abyss! As for signing the top class in the MAC - it DOESN’T matter one bit. Nearly all of those guys will transfer from BG long before they ever see the light of day of staying at BG. Frisco Bowl champs! Wow, what an amazing accomplishment. Surely wipes away all the negative air surrounding the program, which currently doesn’t even have a coach.

It’s official - John Hauser has been named Ohio’s head coach. Big-time upgrade over Brian Smith, who also put the snack down on BG himself. Not that BG stood a chance in the MAC or in this series anymore to begin with, but hiring Hauser will only add to BG’s complete and utter misery vs OU as Ohio will continue to dominate and obliterate BG as they’ve done for the last decade and now for many years to come. Ohio simply OWNS lowly BG now and it is backed by FACTS:

In the last decade:

OU has won 8 of the last 9 vs BG, mostly in blowouts.
OU has been to 3 MAC Championships, BG in 0.
OU has won a MAC Championship, BG has won 0.
OU has won 7 straight bowl games, BG has won 0.

During that span:

BG has just 1 lowly win vs Ohio, no MACC appearances, no MAC titles, no bowl wins and 8 losing seasons in the past decade.

This program is beyond terrible, players continue to exit in masses and the program continues to be stuck going nowhere. I admit, BG used to be a solid MAC program. But those days are long gone, over a decade ago already, and there’s no hope in sight. BG at least had a cat to cheer about this season despite sucking yet again. This programs is buried in the past and everyone knows it. The true hurts when the facts back it up. Unless BG can find a DeLorean and go back to pre-2015, its days of misery are here to stay. But there still hope for some joy for BG fans - maybe a player on the team will have a pet parrot or guinea pig people can cheer for this upcoming season since the football team won’t provide anything but similar decade-long results. BGSUCKS….

Would all of you please ignore this OU idiot (no offense rc_ziggy84). My guess is "Hail Peden" is the same guy that goes by "Kit Kat" over on BobcatAttack. That guy was saying two years ago that BG should be dropped from I-A football and how bad it sucked. Never mind that he had no idea about BG football history and he was going off of only what BG did from the time he stepped on Ohio's campus as a student. Two seasons later after his statement, BG has been ranked in the Top-25 in back-to-back seasons, has won a bowl game (something OU hasn't even been to since 1968 - and lost), is 7-1 against BCS opponents, has beaten several ranked teams (Purdue, NIU), had ESPN College Gameday on BG's campus, had five National TV games on just last season alone, had a couple crowds of more than 30,000, and BG's helmet is hanging in the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Indiana as I write this.....etc., etc. Not to mention, we own a sizeable lead over OU in the series history and beat the snot out of the Bobcats the last time the two teams met. The funny things is, we actually trailed 7-0 in that game!

So Hail Peden, feel free to visit and feel free to post on this board. But if you've come onto this board to talk smack, then get ready to eat crow. I could have been hired as OU's new OC and taught the team how to throw a forward pass, and I would have done it for minimum wage and could have saved the Bobcats some cash in the process. Phil Early is too "Late" for OU's problems, Knorr is probably toast and Ohio will still likely end up bringing up the rear in the MAC - again. Actions speak louder than words, and right now, I can't hear a word OU is saying!
