vs. Miami (12/30)
vs. Miami (12/30)
On Tuesday, December 30, our Falcons (10-3, 1-0 MAC) will again be home at the Stroh Center for a HUGE contest against undefeated Miami (13-0, 1-0 MAC). The game will begin at 7:00pm and will be available to stream on ESPN+.
With the schedule for MAC play being so challenging to start (@ 9-4 UMass, @ 10-2 Kent State, vs. 9-3 Akron after this) it’d be huge to win a big one like this at home.
Tickets are $3 for GA and roughly $8 for reserved, with free parking, so the athletic department is looking to get a good crowd in the building for this one, even with students still off campus for break. Why not get down to BG and support the men?
Go Falcons!

I'm still not fully sold Miami is as great as they appear. They played the third easiest non conference schedule, excluding non D1 games, and didn't exactly blow away ball st who is arguably the worst team in the conference. I still think they are a top half team and will be a huge chance to prove our spot as a title contender

Looking through all the stats the league has on hand, Miami does not seem to have fared any better in any way except the W/L column than we have, and against inferior competition.
God - can you believe that? Somebody in the MAC played a worse non-conference schedule than we did.
I'd actually like to be there for this one - but we're supposed to be in the middle of a 4 day snow storm. That makes a 300 mile drive kind of a hard sell.

Gonna be a great crowd for this one.
Re: vs. Miami (12/30)
It was a strong start, but we’ve gone cold from the field and trail 22-11 halfway through the first half. Gonna need to make some buckets to battle back into this one.

Too bad the team didn't show up with the crowd.

Getting run out of the gym. Down 21 with 5 to play in the first half.
Typical.

This team isn't good enough to play half assed.
Pathetic showing with the best non-UT crowd they'll see all season

Re: vs. Miami (12/30)
Simon can get all the techs he wants but they're playing lazy half assed defense reaching and grabbing constantly. We should have 25 fouls by now
Re: vs. Miami (12/30)
Well that was bad
Re: vs. Miami (12/30)
Woo that’s a rough one day. I still like a lot about this team. Just seems like we have certain games where we just cannot score to save our lives. The zone threw us off early mixed with bad officiating and worse shot selection. I still think we can make this a good year and make it interesting in Cleveland if we can rebound. Really interested to see if/how we bounce back.
