7 points given up in league play to teams that aren't good. Between Northern and now Lake State I give you exhibit A and B why we can't ever host a second round playoff game. 4th or 5th place it is again.

End of game was embarrassing. Stjernberg, should sit a game just for antics with fans. Actually thought he might climb over thr glass at one point.

Why has this program suffered these types of losses (to teams they have no business losing to at home) for YEARS?

Different coaches, and yet we see the same pattern being repeated.

This feels like it's cultural (within the lockerroom in some way despite different players each year)...but that's not proof. Clearly, though, something is off and has been for a very long time.

As for last night, we got goalied. Applebee gave up fewer rebounds last night than he did Friday and fewer than any goalie we've seen in two months. He was really on last night. Also, the Lakers are not gawd awful like Ferris or Northern. They've already beaten Augie and the Tommies so we're in good company. That said, the PP needs some help; it looks like moving away from the 1-3-1 isn't paying off. I'm not making excuses! We should beat those guys, but we did take 3 of 4 from them.

The CCHA race now breaks down to three teams fighting for the MacNaughton, three teams fighting for the 4th home playoff spot, and 3 spoilers. Given our schedule we have the best shot at home ice but we will need to win some games against the top 5 teams in the league.

Heard from someone who spoke with Norris that, despite his foot being in a boot, he may be considered day-to-day. We'll see. It looks like Morneau injured his shoulder or collarbone. He was hanging out in our section for a bit last night and did not have his arm in a sling which is good.

Misconduct is not a disqualification. However, 3 "Game misconducts" equals a one game suspension. Missing from your list is the 5 minute major Gus received for "face-masking." Amazingly, an LSSU player also received a 5 minute major for "cross-checking."

Face masking is one of those penalties that's has not been enforced how the coaches were told it would be this season.
