Good Falcon representation tonight.

We aren't playing well at all right now. Totally allowing them to dictate the pace and style of the game. Playing our our heels. Gotta get it tilted back in the other direction here.

BG has picked up their play, but now Gus is getting a major here with 2 minutes to go in the first period.
Just brutal. We HAVE to be more disciplined.

Upgraded to a major after review. Don't agree with the call.

I had a direct line on their goal. Two levels of screens. Saw the shot leave the guys stick and was hoping it would find Cole’s glove.
We looked very disjointed. They had a number of good chances.

Also, if this is a sellout crowd there are a crap ton of people who didn’t show. Place
Is at best 2/3 full.

5 has earned his reputation, he's not getting the benefit of the doubt there. Gotta know when it's time to let up. We lead the CCHA in penalties for a reason, and it's not because we're TOO disciplined.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 30, 2026 7:36 pmUpgraded to a major after review. Don't agree with the call.

He has, but Knuble turned into the hit and he was leaning forward. I'm simply not a fan how college hockey calls major penalties. Penalize the result more than the intent.mbenecke wrote: ↑Fri Jan 30, 2026 7:43 pm5 has earned his reputation, he's not getting the benefit of the doubt there. Gotta know when it's time to let up. Quinn Emerson buries one and it’s 1-1 halfway through the game.

Had some nice looks on the 2-man but couldn’t cash in.

Game ends as a tie for NPI purposes. BG wins the shootout 1-0.

Re: @/vs. Notre Dame (1/30-31)
Goose was engaged with the player the entire time. 99% of the time, the player actually cares about his health and gets rode into the boards standing up. He tried to stop and brace himself. His right foot turning is plain as day on the replay.
That's two very weak 5 minute major-game misconduct calls in two games. Now, have to hope the league will overturn the one from Bemidji last Saturday, or he's out for tomorrow. He had one at the end of the LSSU game.
