Wonderful game. Time to find a new coach, or new players, or both. I don't know why the shooters are in a slump. I don't know why the goal is to hold the ball until 5 seconds are left in the shot clock. I don't know a lot, but we new some changes.

Oh yeah, a 10 point loos for the Falcons. 59-49

Definitely need a change. I thought Kohler would have had a good year but even she seems to have struggled. Time to move on to some new people.

Program deserves better. I like Coach, but gotta be way better and they just aren’t progressing like they should be.

Bring Kim Cameron back to BG, or go back to the Ashland well and hire Kari Pickens.

That was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. Kohler was pointing at Woods, who passed her the ball on the 3-point shot. The announcers seemed to recognize that right away. I'm not sure how none of the 3 referees could see that. The guy made a horsesh*t call, but one of the other 2 officials could've seen that & talked him into rescinding the technical - or maybe they tried to & he was too stubborn to admit he might be wrong.

I wonder if Fred is not already on a short leash. I think he has one more year left on his contract but he had 2 unfilled openings on the roster this year. Loses two seniors and probably some transfers and has only signed 3, two of which are foreign players. As I've said before with the exception of Porter he has added nothing to the roster. You can't count Donahue and Gerken cause they were signed under Fralick. And really I think he lucked into Kohler because of a coaching change in Buffalo.

I agree with basically everything said here. I wonder if it makes any difference that Fred is a DVDM hire. Will Derek give Fred a slightly longer leash since he hired him? Either way, the program's gotta be better, and the jury is definitely still out on this staff's recruiting abilities. I'm willing to give him credit for Kohler (even though he did luck into getting her), but other than Kohler and Porter, there are no other Chmiel recruits or transfers that have worked out.

It's gonna be an interesting month. If the season ended right now, BG would not make the MAC Tournament. There are still some winnable games on the schedule --- Buffalo, WMU and NIU -- but there are definitely some losses there, too. We still have to go on the road to play Ball State (10-1 in the MAC, I think), Ohio (trounced us in the first meeting at our place) and CMU (beat us at our place), and the home game vs. TTUN could easily be a loss as well. One of the many concerning things to me is, this team just can't seem to shoot very well. I keep thinking Paige or Gerken or someone will get hot, hit a bunch of 3s and lead us to a win, but it just feels like everyone is struggling to make shots, and after 20+ games, maybe that's just what we are -- a team that can't shoot.

I went into this year with relatively low expectations, but even so, it's been a depressing season so far.

Gerken has been attempting a lot of 3's and making very few. She needs to stop doing that,..
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
