vs. Toledo (2/14)

A rivalry fit for a Valentine’s Day matchup.

Following the win over Northern Illinois, our Falcons (15-10, 6-6 MAC) return home to the Stroh Center for a pivotal matchup with the hated Toledo Rockets (13-12, 7-5 MAC). The game will begin at 5:00pm, and will stream on ESPN+.

I think we’re better than they are. We should have won up at their place a few weeks ago before a late collapse, and as long as we play our game and stay out of foul trouble here, this is a spot where we should win at home.

It’s important to get a win here, as Kent State and undefeated Miami (2 of the top 3 teams in the MAC this year) are up next on the schedule. We can’t afford to go 0-3 in that stretch.

Hell of a win! Completely controlled the second half and shot lights out. Got a bit too conservative for my liking at the end but overall a really good game by us

So a week ago at Arkansas State, this team didn't look like a D1 team. Then tonight shows up and handles business. On paper this should be a better season than it's been.

Depending on how Kent State goes Tuesday, I may make the trip to Oxford next Saturday.
