One of America's Great Newspapers weighs in on the fan scene at the Slate. This is a link to a FB post that displays the entire article. I'll link to something like this but won't copy/paste the content out of copyright consideration.

I was pay walled on your link. Hopefully it works for others, it’s a fun read.
It's weird. I don't know if it's because I rarely read anything on their site, and you're allowed so many views in a certain tmeframe or what. I also usually switch to "incognito mode" when viewing websites I know have limited viewing. Sometimes it works, others it doesn't.
Quinn Emerson is interviewed on the CCHA Show this week. Head to CCHA.com and visit the multimedia link and look for podcasts. It’s also available on MidCo with the visuals.

In the latest USCHO poll, CCHA teams are ranked 15, 16, 17, 18 (Tommies, Tech, Mavs, Viqueens). We are the first team out with 30 votes.
20th in the USA Today poll, albeit as "Bowling Green University", whoever the hell that is.

I don't know if that's better or worse than Bowling Green State?
The USCHO guys did a podcast on the teams from the CCHA in the running for an at large. It's one of the best non-biased assessments of this league I've heard in quite a while. Contrast that with the latest episode of The CCHA Show the league puts on. Every week I find myself yelling at my phone over the "hot takes" on our team from the regular group of Minnesota-based prognosticators.
I can't stop thinking about that 5th goal Mankato scored. If they don't score that goal, they don't win the MacNaughton and we get home ice. One flippin' goal.
I'm vacillating between anger, bargaining, and depression at the moment.
