KJ Torbert
Re: KJ Torbert
I'm crossing every digit hoping he stays committed here. I imagine he has received some pretty serious NIL offers from much bigger programs at this point.

Re: KJ Torbert
Was he heavily recruited? I read that he has known coach Lourawls Nairn for a while which was a deciding factor.
Re: KJ Torbert
He committed and signed early, so most of his official offers have been MAC/Horizon, but I know that some bigger schools have turned up to watch him this season, and I'd be surprised if some A10 or lower level BE/B10/ACC programs haven't reached out.Tricky_Falcon wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2026 3:55 pm Was he heavily recruited? Yeah, I'm hoping he makes it here for at least a season too. Seems like as good a recruit as BG has landed in awhile.
We could benefit here because while the truly elite HS players (future NBA guys) are going to high majors, most of those teams are filled out with experienced kids they poach from places like the MAC. Hopefully we get a year of great play, then he steps up.

Re: KJ Torbert
Thats probably the case. He goes to a place where he is likely to get lots of PT and focus and then transfers up. The dream isn't that he stays 4 years. That's really impossible anymore.hammb wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 8:32 am Yeah, I'm hoping he makes it here for at least a season too. Seems like as good a recruit as BG has landed in awhile.
