No excuse for the program in 2026-27 to not have a highly successful season with who is returning and what's being infused. On paper this will be one of the best rosters since Berge's last year.

I am so excited to see this confirmed. I love seeing strong teams come to the Slate. I also like seeing different teams rather than the same games. Good Job, Willy!

Saw on another Forum that we are playing in the Ice Breaker Challenge October 9th & 10th vs. Penn State. Other side is UConn/Sacred Heart.

December 2028, the Walleye are putting ice in downtown Toledo. Have to believe BG will be partaking.

The denver series is perfect timing for me! I'll be able to go to Friday and take my niece who is 3-0 at BG games. She went to the 4-1 win against Princeton last year and left right before the Princeton goal

Western full schedule is out, we're not on it which means no farewell to Lawson for those of us who enjoy that experience.

Per Penn State's initial press release about the event, the Connecticut schools are hosting in their own buildings and will play 1 game each against us/Penn State. So this isn't a tournament, more a showcase type of event.

They say Penn State opens at UConn (meaning we will play Sacred Heart) and then Penn State plays Sacred Heart (meaning we will play UConn).

So, we've got:
10/9 @ Sacred Heart
10/10 @ UConn
1/1 vs. Denver
1/2 vs. Denver

Toscano and Martire are 90 min apart. I'm planning to go* and am hoping the athletic department will have recommendations on where to stay, tickets, etc. I won't hope for a package (which would be nice) but a little coaching would be helpful.

*I've visited 46 of our 50 states with CT/RI still on my list. Fun excuse to check those two off (ND and MS would remain). I get it, this is more info about me than you'd care to know.

Hey man, I just watched Michael on Saturday. I'd watch the TUPD biopic too.

If you turned on the TUPD biopic while in bed you wouldn't need any melatonin, that's for sure...

Augustana *should* just be in BG for 2, unless they are turning into another UNO. You'll have to wait until the following season to for a reason to get close to ND.

Really tough series to start the season, but nice to have camp to have an extended chance to get ready for them to start the year. And you have to love the idea of Michigan coming to town for the home opener - they should push that hard and sell it out. Naturally it comes with students off campus for Fall Break, but this community will fill the building for an opponent like that.

First real game against them since 1/1/2018 in the GLI up in Detroit, first time with them coming to our building since February 25, 2012.

Wondering about the non-conference schedule. We've heard a rumor about there being a single game trip to Notre Dame, but I kinda doubt us playing an odd number of non-conference games. Doing a little math, the 60th anniversary of the Ice Arena is this season. Would it be possible that they will be playing a single one-off game for the 60th anniversary? We played a single game against Mercyhurst in February for the 50th.
