I wouldn't post this if I hadn't already looked everywhere for the answer: Has BG ever won an NCAA Title in women's volleyball?

If volleyball had won an NCAA title there would be a banner in Anderson Arena, and there is not. A better question is, has a MAC team ever won a National Championship in anything? (Discount sports where the MAC doesnt exist, Hockey I.E., and teams who have won at other levels before joining the MAC, IE Marshall football in 1-AA.) It's late on a Sunday but right now I can't think of any.

Well, the football team did win a national championship ... Schadenfreude has posted on the specifics before (college division, maybe?).

To your point golfertk, no the volleyball team hasn't ever won a national title. Back in the late '80s & early '90s, Western Michigan was quite the powerhouse. I remember going there for a match - I don't know what surprised me more, the fact that they charged $3 to get in or the fact that they had a few thousand people in the stands.
Hey, look at me! I'm all over the InterWebs!

Ah that's right, the '59 football team did win the "college division" championship. From what I understand, back then that was about to equivialent to winning the 1-AA championship, when no such distiniction existed between division I teams. Syracuse was actually credited at the "true" national champion that year, they went undefeated and won the Cotton Bowl, led by Heisman trophy winner Ernie Davis, who was drafted by the Browns, but died of lukemia before he had a chance to make a contribution. Either way, I think the 59 team counts as a MAC National Champion despite the fact the "college division" distinction no longer exists.
