"Band geek" or "Band f@g" are misnomers perpetuated by 'athletes' who realized that they were perhaps not in a great situation knowing that they were patting eachother on the behind then showering together when all the patting was done.

I was called a band f@g in high school. Right before we bandos beat the football team in football. It seems as though they weren't used to hitting without their pads.......we were
We lost our drum major to a broken collar bone, however.

I've been in that situation before!! The band in my high school just killed the entire football team!! That shut most of them up for calling us "band geeks" or "band f@gs" as you put it.

Aaaaah! Don't draw attention to it, don't draw attention to it! I only used it because it was the only band-instrument option they had!

Sorry, I've been away for a couple of days and havn't seen this...

1st, Euphs Rule!!! (if I have to compromise I'll say that LOW brass ruels)

2nd, Band geek, band f@g, band nerd, whatever you want to call it, most of us (myself incluled) wear the term with great honor. Who else would get excited about chairsteping down mainstreet infront of Pandera on gameday morning?? (YOU'VE BEEN EUPHONIUMED!!!!)

3rd, I wish we played our football team in HS. I'm sure we would have won too. I'm glad to see that others have help prove my theory of band superiorty!

That is all, have a nice day!! :D

Besides not even being able to read that with the mispellings and grammatical errors, I'm going to say I can actually picture the same thing! Either that or her catching a kick-off and someone like Mr. Winovich railing her while she stands there in fear.

My high school band would have definitely won over our football team. No questions asked. Why...you may be asking yourselves, am I so sure of this? BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE A FOOTBALL TEAM AT MY HIGH SCHOOL! hahahaha. weird huh? :P

(Question: Do you people care that I post things on here, I am a Band Member, just not at BG, obviously?)

My high school band beat the football team(WITH the coaches playing.) They wouldn't play the band, except for two touch. The coaches didn't want the players to get hurt. We beat them BAD, I mean we STOPPED counting. it would have been like 90-21. we just couldn't KICK a field goal, or a point-after, so we constantly did 2-pt conversions, and NEVER settled for 3rd and long. BG seems to not settle either. Talk about a high-powered team!? And the band is good too. I think the BAND can ALWAYS give the F-Ballers a run for their money. They are GOOD people, usually.....

From the Miami side, as with MOST bands, when beating a team handily, I yell, "BAND WANTS A SCRIMMAGE!" along with MANY others. I yell other things, as well, but somethings are best not said.....

I am ALWAYS nice. Mama always teached me tuh play nice wit duh udda kids.

So, How big is BG's band?

One of my friends parents sang me BG's fight song, IN CHURCH on Easter. So, totalling the Fight Songs, I think THE WORLD hates Miami. I had BG's, OU's(can't STAND it), UC's(even worse than OU's, at least OU's words make SENSE), and OSU's. I hummed Love and Honor. Sorry, my little tangent there.....

Just wondering, since I prolly won't get to SEE BG's Famed Falcon Marchers.

ah, whaddya say guys...we had approximately 225 this year...including guard/twirlers. We were pretty big. When we had indoor rehearsals in Kelly Hall...we were DEFINITELY creating a fire hazard. But, it was awesome! Who else can say that they get to spend an hour and 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week w/224 of their closest friends?
