Re: Its not likely.....
I somewhat agree, but also wonder what say Dakich has regarding the court, or even with Nike in what our uniforms look like.falconboy wrote:Anything like that would ever get done here at least while DD is here as coach. DD is old school and designs like this and Boise St's are new school and DD won't have any of it.
The fact is our court has looked the same for a number of years (stupid looking if you ask me) and we also introduced new logos/word marks.
These are all just fun concepts to think about when looking at our court and in the football thread, the field at Perry Stadium . . .

haha now that would be classic!!Germainfitch1 wrote:Dayon, take a look at the Missourri court. I like the state outline in the middle. We obviously couldnt do that. Maybe a huge tractor in honor of the tractor pull.
I've always liked teams that use the state on their football field and court- I thought it was dumb when Ohio State removed it from their floor and Marshall even had West Va. on their football field.
I'll have to look around and come up with some more designs soon. . .

Dayons, I keep coming back and wanting to see if you have implemented my ideas from my original post with the Falcons wings, the Falcons eyes or the feet around the court. I would love to see what it would look like. My computer was bought in 1998 so I doubt it will work to do it myself.
Also you said you designed anohter court in BG? Do you have it on hand and what did it look like?

Sorry, I don't have a picture of it. I designed it in 1997 when less paint was all the rage. It has a basketball in the middle with a script "Bobcats" diagonally over it. It Says "Bowling Green" near the sidelines at mid court- going on both sides of mid court. The sidelines area thing red, no paint in the key and NLL on the free throw line.Germainfitch1 wrote:Also you said you designed anohter court in BG? Do you have it on hand and what did it look like?
FWIW I also designed the font and painting on the East wall of that gym.

Just throw the MAC logo on either side of midcourt and you're there.
Dana told me your head was filled with sand a long time ago.... glad to see she's gonna turn it into a planter now....
