That ball from harris went up and things went quiet untill charles caught the pass in the endzone, then the sound of air being sucked out of about 60,000 purdue fans after it had been blown around by their mouths all day was priceless.
There is a clip of it here on this 2003 highlight reel:

You described it well. The sound of 60,000 people saying "oh (damn)" all at once is priceless.

I have a copy of just that play on my hard drive. Whenever I get sad that football season is six months away, I play it a few times. Inevitably, it cheers me up.

Jacobs is no Orton!? HAHA! That's the truth. J5 outplayed Orton 2 years ago in West Lafayette and Omar is real close to being better than J5 already.

My biggest concern is that they're right with quotes like this one, "Even WE can pass on them" If Whiskey can pass on us it could be a long year, because their QB is terrible, and they don't help him with any playmakers at the WR spot either. Barring a major leap in development they have very little talent at the skill positions.
Preach it brother hammb! Omar can take anyone any day.

Anyone know what this is suppose to mean:

Re: Ohio State QB gets 2 game suspension for taking $500...

Those friends of ours from Bowling Green who have been posting had better watch out! The NCAA is going to slap them with sanctions for OSU's misgivings!

I just read that thread...and that just appeared out of nowhere. It seems their fear of having to play us in the first game of the season is showing through for some.

I know, I have no idea what it meant either. I thought I may have missed something.
