Spring Practice Updates?

Post by falconman »

So how's everyone looking, any underclassmen sticking out? a sleeper that could start this year that no one thought of? Living a hour and twenty minutes south of BG makes it tough to make it to any of the practices, but will defintely be their for the spring game. Any updates would be greatly appreciated.

I found this on JJHuddle, does anyone know who the mystery #85 is?

If he is as spectacular as this guy is saying, I would guess that they are talking about Steve Sanders. Just my opinion, but I think Sanders will be our best receiver this year.

My guess is that number 85 is Luke Alexander but he is not as tall as what they were saying Luke is only 6'0 but hie is very fast runs a 4.4 and in the highlights of him in HS he was blowing past the CB with no probs.

Unless he enrolled in classes eary a true freshman would not be participating in spring drills.

Why must I be the only one so pessimistic to worry that it's our DBs sucking and not the greatness of this un-named WR? Its a curse...

Why can't the reports from spring practice talk about a unknown linebacker at 6'3", 230 lbs with speed and ability to rush the passer, stop the run and cover a back out of the backfield?

I have no doubt we'll find plenty of guys that can catch the ball in the offense. Stopping the other team should be our number one priority!

Aren't the practices technically "closed" to the public?

Also, we need to face the fact the our D will not be great and that we will have to outscore everyone to win the league title...see that school up north for a reference point.

So let's just not worry about the D and enjoy the O.

Yeah, I got word today that #85 is Steve Sanders. I'm excited to see him and Sharon on the field together.

Ist here Anyway for the Spring Game that we can get a handful of guys to just scout one particular position each and report. Break it up to QB/ST, RB, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB? Each person grabs a unit and then gives a little right up post game?
