Pat Ewing Jr.
Was listening to the Jim Rome show on the radio and he said that Pat Ewing was leaving Indiana for several reasons. Lack of playing time was one and another reason was due to the fact that Davis may not be the coach his senior year. Rome said Ewing would be transfering to a Div-1 school in Ohio. Could it be Ohio State? Or could it be Bowling Green. Not sure if Dakich has any ties back to Indiana or not.
Here is the article on ESPN, but it does not say where he would be transfering to.

I sure hope it's not osu but I'm certain it will be. I don't see him going from the big 10 to the MAC. Ewing Jr. brought a lot of energy to the floor getting blocks and boards. Was hard for him to get playing time behind DJ White and it wouldve been even tougher with some big guys coming in next season. I sure hope he's coming to BG though. Fans wouldn't be dissapointed.
Edit: The only thing that makes me think that it's not ohio state is that they said it is a Division I school in Ohio. Everyone knows osu is DI. so why not come out and say it? Maybe it is BG or another MAC school...

The rules around transferring are pretty tight-lipped. Players can't even say "I'm transferring to ____ University", they just can say they wish to transfer, and if the University grants them their release, they can go to the school they choose. Though its a little surprising that enough detail came out for it to be nailed down as a "division 1 school in Ohio" that something else hasn't popped up. Maybe this will be enough of a spark for the Blade or someone to start making some phone calls.McMetz811 wrote:I think we'd have heard about it by now if he was trasnferring here. That would be some big news!!!
And remember, if he DOES go to a D-1 school, he won't be eligible next season, seeing the floor in 2006-07.

But then again, how much stock do I put into a show called "Rome is Burning" although I am not sure what he calls his radio show.TG1996 wrote:The rules around transferring are pretty tight-lipped. I like that steak comes from cows. That is why a cow will not think twice about eating you.
Growing up outside of Ft. Wayne and having to read about Luke Recker's multiple transfers . . . I know for a fact that the Big 11 has a rule that prevents one school from offerring a scholarship to athlete from a fellow institution. So Pat Jr. would be paying his own way at tOSU. Other outlets include Kent, Dayton and UC as well. Speculation on a similar site had him going to Georgia Tech or Georgetown.

The Big Ten has made it very hard to transfer within the conference. Remember when Luke Recker went from Indiana, to Arizona, to Iowa? They "allowed" him to enroll at Iowa.
Only other one that comes to memory is Lawrence Funderbunkle (I know its Funderburke) going from Indiana to Ohio State.
We'll have to see.

I think dad could find some extra money floating around to cover a couple years tuition at OSU.OptionQB wrote:I know for a fact that the Big 11 has a rule that prevents one school from offerring a scholarship to athlete from a fellow institution. So Pat Jr. would be paying his own way at tOSU.
Because you know, he spends alot of money, so he has to make alot of money.

Fellatio (fel·la·ti·o) n. - Oral stimulation of the penis.

It was my alternative, ladies man pronounciation. I spelled it that way, then thought someone is not going to get my joke so I put the pronounciation afterwards. . .McMetz811 wrote:Um...did you mean to say fellatios?
