Take a look at all the people who actually know something about football who agree with me. I'm not doing anything but telling what I think is the truth here. You people are too sensitive. I haven't cursed you out or anything yet you act like I'm insulting your mothers.

So *THAT'S* where all the people who know about football have been hanging out. Thanks, man! Now I don't have to spend my days reading anything else, I can just stop by there and learn, learn, learn!
Seriously, I stopped reading at the post that listed about 6 different things like "we fumbled and gave them a TD", "we dropped passes", "we gave them an INT return for a TD", and it should have been 70-10. Which, to me, is absolutely no different than fans here saying "If Sharon doesn't fumble on his own 25", "we dropped passes", "if we could have gotten a stop on 4th down", etc. Yet we're a bunch of mid-major bandwagoners, and they're the reincarnation of Schembechler, Hayes, (Perry) and Paterno all rolled into one? THIS is the logic I have trouble with. But who cares. I'm proud, maybe happy (but not ecstatic) with our showing against one of the top 3 or 4 teams of the last 4 years, that has since added a killer running game, and now its time to focus on this Saturday.

CaliSooner is right - just ask his mom
or the other impartial posters on the OU Board. Ask him why the stadium was so quiet for most of the 4th quarter.
OU was better - I don't think anyone here is disputing that - they didn't drill us and it hurts this type of OU fan's pride. Some members of the Sooner nation would literally not know what to talk about if they couldn't pound their chest about football. Before Stoops they were a much more humble (read likeable) group.

I feel sorry for guys like you. You can't take any pride in winning a game against a solid team, 40-24. Guys like you are never satisfied unless you romp over someone 66-3.
This game was much closer than you and the "media experts" thought.
Sure OK went up 37-10 in the 3rd...and BG scored 14 unanswered and got within TWO scores of taking the lead. OK's offense took over and drove it down our throat.
You're pathetic....
I really hope OK wins it all but for the classy fans...of which you are not.

Gang, why do you bother with people like this? We've had so many OK fans visit AZZ and show respect for our program; CaliSooner is like athlete's foot, the more you scratch, the more irritating it becomes. I say focus on posts by the members of the Sooner Nation that show the writer has a certain knowledge of the game and what happened on the field.
