Oh yeah, the signs!

Post by 1987alum »

Noah & I created signs, too. For obvious reason, I avoided the expletives!

Some favorites:

After a sack:

Today's menu:
Doyt Dirt -
Eat some!

After a first down:
Another Falcon -
FIRST DOWN!

Generic:
Noah: Play
here in
2017!

I just over heard my boss say something about needing to send someone to Eastern PA for a week. Maybe I should volunteer.

The pitch to your boss ...

Sure, tell him about all the money you'll save on lodging! But don't mention the fact that you'll be sleeping through the day assignment because you'll be up all night guiding the Falcons!

Go Football!

Post by FalconAwesome »

My Bro and I are playing a season with two users. He is BG and I am Ohio U. (where i am going to grad school in a few weeks). The Bobcats are terrible! We are now in our third season and they still have our correct nonleague schedule and the rotate the league schedule this time. So now i don't get to play my brother which kinda sucks.

Anyway, after the Bobcats stole away all of the good recruits from the falcons, I opened my third season 2-0 with an opening win over the Buckeyes in Columbus! That made my day and maybe my life!

for the record ...

Man, I love this game.

Even a 34-0 blowout of Eastern is interesting. O4 (who's #5 on the top QB list, despite a comp. pct. under 50) had a bad day, throwing two picks. How do you win? Easy, pick off two passes and run them both back for TDs; add a fumble recovery deep in Emu territory and a long punt return, plus 134 rushing yards from a RB fresh off a one-game suspension for missing a mandatory workout.

Does anyone know if the Stadium Pulse can increase over the course of a dynasty?

Stadium Pulse definitely increases over the course. My brother's Doyt routinely has five bars without even pumping up the crowd even against crappy teams. When you play a top 25 team, it gets a few bars higher.

Well with the loss of Newson the BG secondary was fairly crappy going into my second season, despite the addition of one **** CB recruit. Jelani Jordan was the best returner, and that should be an indication of how terrible it was. I think Jelani is an 80 for me, although its no irrelevant as he broke his ankle and is gone for the year.

I played Wyoming and it was sweet. Their secondary was AWFUL, and I threw on them all day, although they did a good job on Pope & Omar's scrambles. My OL stinks and I feel sorry for PJ. He's a senior and a 91 and I cannot get him the rushing yards he deserves. Luckily I love to throw to my HB and he's on pace for a nearly 1000 yard receiving season. Chuck Sharon is catching about 150 yards per game too.

Omar was on the preseason 1st team All American, and the preseason Heisman watch list. However, I started the season with a rematch against OU and then played @ the big house. I won at UM and lost to OU at the Doyt. Omar went down against OU early and had a less than stellar game against UM despite the win. The result is that he's no longer on the radar for the Heisman. If he continues with the numbers he's put up against Wyoming, Temple, and NIU he should garner Heisman honors.

Man , when I played the game on dynasty and played OK , I got absolutley drilled by em' . But over the course of 5 seasons (mostly simulated alot I rented the game) I beat Nebraska pretty good and totally smacked NIU after I had couple of decent recruiting seaons . I was really lucky to get a bunch of 4 and 5 star wideout recruits . I really wanted to load up on big d-lineman but didn't have much sucess there. I'm going to have to actually buy this game so I can play out an entire season for total control cuz I simulated alot for times sake ( a rented game) , but I always lost to some ridiculously low team like an 2-4 eastern mich. when I thought had a pretty decent team of 3 ,4 star guys , with even 2 ***** star guys at reciever.
