OU fan on Bowling Green Football

Post by Ally »

I am an old OU football fan who was very impressed with your team last Saturday.

I thought your team made a great showing against what I know to be a good OU team. Your team has a lot of talent and it was very obvious that you have some really good coaches. Your coaches did a good job of scheming on both offense and defense.

I wasn't expecting much from your QB, so, I was really surprised. I thought for a young kid with virtually no real game experience that he really played well. He kept his poise and was able to find his receivers and really threw a nice catchable ball. To me he was the surprise of the game.

I am smart enought to know that BG was going to put up a real fight and they did't disappoint on that count. My guess is that by the middle of the season you are going to have a very good team.

For those BG fans who were able to come to Norman I hope you had a great time. You really didn't get to see a great pre-game day at OU. The 11:00 am kickoffs really kills the OU game day experience. It is way more fun with a late afternoon kickoff like we will have against Houston this coming Saturday.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I thought your team was very good and very well coached and did themselves proud.

I hope you get to come back to Norman agains sometime.

Ally:

Thanks! Most of all the OU fans have exhibited great class and been very gracious to the Falcon Faithful. It would be great if the Sooners can run the table and bring home a national championship so that we can say our only loss was to the National Champs!

I was impressed with your Offensive line and #17 Keyon Newson on defense.
I was not imressed with #90 blasting our RB in the package with a punch after the play was over. Quite a cheap shot.
But, overall I thought BG did well, but lost as expected.
Good luck on the rest of your season.

hey if you want to break down game tape go ahead and do it, but there are always cheap shots so lets not get our boxers in a bunch.
