J-Swoop: Not really. Of course, at last year's Temple game, there were just about as many BG fans as Temple fans!

Unfortunately for us, the closest roadie is Kent State.

Rich alumni? I'm far from rich and I'll be in Madison! While gas prices might be a bit steep for the drive up, split it among 5 fans or so, you can find hotels on the outskirts of town for $60 a night or so, and according to some Wisky fans from their board, everything in Madison is a $20 cab ride TOPS. Find some friends, dig some pennies out of the couch and hit the road! :D

It's been said before, but I'll say it agian, this schedule could really suck. As a fan not having a home game until october really blows. I'm glad I got out of the marching band when I did. With all of our home games in Oct/Nov, that is going to make for at least one "One Week Wonder" (for those not wired into the band lingo, thats code for a show that's gonna suck). For their sake I hope they go somewhere in Sept. Myself personally, I am planning on making the trip to Madison if it is at all possible. I planning at trip to Disney to watch my little brother march that spring so money will be slightly tight but I intent to do everything possible to be there.

Look at the possibilities...if we are undefeated when the first home game gets here, BG will be the place to be and fans will be clammering to get a glimpse of what they have only heard about. Yes, I read the other possiblity, but I prefer to keep the outlook positive.

GO BG!!!

BelieveNBG: Even if we're undefeated coming into the Temple game, the weather will be a huge factor. Like it or not, the difference between a decent crowd and a great crowd (size-wise) is often the weather. If we get some cold, freezing-rain, horizontal-wind filled October day (Ball State 2004?) could really drive down the attendance figures.

For the die-hards, yes. But we don't have 20K of those (yet). Noah & I sat through the 2003 Kent game and the GMAC monsoon. We'll be at a game no matter what the weather!

It's good to hear that you're raising your son to be not only a true Falcon, but also a true Football fan!! Way To Go!!

Now if he was raising Noah right, we would be seeing pictures of Noah with Orange hair and his shirt off with the Falcon logo painted over his orange covered torso from when he came for the games.

Sept 10 will be a home game. Has to be because it's also Black Swamp Festival that weekend. Actually, they are trying to put together a Scouting campover in conjunction with that game. Likely a MAC game with a 6:00 pm start.

Also heard that there will no longer be general admission tix (all reserved) and north bleachers will be gone due to construction.

I don't think you'll see them get rid of GA tix, we don't have problems with attendance as it is. However, I do think the North stands are gone this year.

Yes, the north stands will be history come this July in deference to the new Sebo Center. The "Bob," as it were. :D

A Buffalo fan posted the Bulls' sked on the MAC board. It has BG visiting Buffalo on Oct. 15.

Warthog (schedulemeister): Does that mean our schedule tentatively looks like this?

9/3 @ Wisconsin
9/10 @ Ball State
9/20 or 21 @ Boise State
10/1 TEMPLE
10/8 TBA - my guess would be H (Ohio, WMU, Akron)
10/15 @ Buffalo
10/22 TBA
10/29 TBA
11/5 TBA
11/15 @ Miami
11/22 TOLEDO
