Wart,
For what it's worth, I wear a "LIVESTRONG" band in memory of my wife, who died of cancer 11 yrs. ago.... my daughter and I first discovered the bands when we went to visit my son in Colo. late last summer... Colo. folks are "health nuts" as a group, and we were surprised to see how many people WERE wearing the yellow bands. Do I think I'm "better than others" because of this? I don't think so.... as to other organizations "copying" the idea, think of how many mailing labels you get from organizations seeking your donations to their cause(s). Seems to me it started with one or two groups....now, I must have about 5,000 labels in my possession, not counting the ones I've thrown away. When one idea seems to work, many groups follow suit, (including MS drive at the BG hockey games last month). It's not all bad and I don't think people

They say BGSU Falcons and have the Falcon head on both sides. Oh, and they are orange.
I'll try and post a pic.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

My aunt got some freebies for me today. The whole wristband thing may be getting way to crazy but I still think that these are sweet.

I may have come off too negative. I think wearing one wristband for a cause you truly believe in to be fine. I just have problems with those that have bands from their wrist to their elbow and couldn't tell you what have of them are for.

Ok, since I couldn't look at them on here, I went to the bookstore today and got some!! They are awesome!!! Looks great right next to that RED BAND OF HOPE for MS!!! All money from the sale of the BG bands go to the scholarship fund, so that is a good cause!!
