I'd just like to point out that I feel like a genius! Up in Seattle, I was chillin in the lobby of our hotel talking to Coach Miller. I told him Baylor was going to win the National Title and he disagreed!!! I figured they wouldn't win after he disagreed since he is one of the best coaches around, but wow, go me

I figured Baylor would be playing Tennessee for the title but wow, MSU impressed me. Although, when Baylor beat UNC, I knew they were going to win it all for sure!golfertk14 wrote:now if i was Miller i'd say the same thing, i didn't think Baylor would go all the way- i thought for sure it'd be the Vols or BG.![]()

Baylor Lady Bears win NCAA Championship? Mmmmm......
Wow , had know idea the Baylor ladies were that good. The Baylor men are kind of like us in mens basketball arent they? I figured Baylor was kinda of Mac level team. You don't hear about them winning anything much. I just went to the link the Golfer provided and went to rosters and it looks like they have a very athletic bunch there. They also have 6'5 girl at center. I just remembered that Baylor is in the Big12. Their coach took over a couple of years back with a 7-20 team and now their national champs, wow!

Baylor looked real good the other night. When I was in Waco with my team for a Junior College classice, I bought a Baylor Lady Bears t-shirt, how smart was that. I originally bought it because I collect college logo t-shirts wherever I go. I didn't think they would win the national title back in January when I bought it.

no kidding here we go...
6'5"!?!?! did ya notice that she didn't even take her shooting shirt off? she is a senior that didn't even play. that proves that you don't need tall players to have a good team. i will take 6' and athletic over 6'3", 6'4" and 6'5" and awkward anyday.

So would I!
Of course I'll take an athletic 6'ft or 6'1 girl over a clumsy , awkward 6'4 or 6'5 girl , duh but Ali Mann isn't exactly real athletic yet. But did you happen to notice Ali getting stuffed alot against K-State's 6'3 or 6'4 center? Ali does need to improve her inside a bit more to help her score against girls that are 3 or 4 inches taller than her and that are not slow and are decently athletic as well. Frankly Baylor appears to have outshot Michigan St. by a pretty good amount , but I don't know how much Baylor got in the paint. If somone has those stats and it ends up that Baylor crushed Michigan St. inside as well with a 6'1 girl than awesome. Though it looks like that one 6'1 girl center for Baylor looks like she has Honnegers physique only she's a bit taller.
