BG beat UB on Sunday.

A 1-0 pitchers duel, Badenhop went the distance throwing a 4-hitter. He looked great today. BG only got 5 hits themselves, the whole game only took about an hour and 45 minutes.

I'll take a "W" any way we can get one. Nice weekend for the BG this weekend. I wish we could have swept Buffalo, but winning a conference series is always huge. We're 20-8, 5-4 in the MAC. That opening weekend sweep by Ball State over us has did some damage, but I like the way we've won 5-of-6 in the MAC since then.

We have one midweek game against Notre Dame who is really struggling to find itself this year. This is a great opportunity for BG to get a solid non-conference win, just like Ball State did there last week (Ball State beat Notre Dame 14-5 in South Bend). Then, it's off to DeKalb for a big MAC road series at NIU. GO BG!!!
GO BG!!!

Good to hear we took 2 of 3. Walking in the winning run in the 1st? A win is a win!

Now, Notre Dame this Tuesday...Factman, please correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like the Irish always beat us by one run....at least the last 4-5 years. Is this correct?

At any rate, BEAT ND! Then sweep NIU!

GO BASEBALL!

Freak, you are right. Also seems like they always get a little"home cookin" too, if you know what I mean. You have to really "beat" them to win a game at ND!!! I think I have seen the last 3 games there, with similar results. Of course, they won't travel here, because they would have to miss class, as we don't have lights!!! What a crock of BS!!!!

Thanks, FM. Well, Ball State pounded them. How about we hit 5 or 6 HR's and drill them as well? That way they can't home cook another close win.

Won't travel to BG cuz we don't have lights??? Wussies.
