That would be nuts. Unbalanced schedules. Temple would have to drop a bunch of games late in the spring. That, I think, would have repurcusions. I would be sick if he was correct on this.

don't worry... this will never happen. roger brown is a complete idiot who never actually reports, just makes stuff up. he was kicked out of the entertainment section because the readers hated him so much. i think most of the readers of the sports section put up with him because they want to see what kind of drivel he can come up with every week.
how he still has a job with the PD i'll never know. he must have naked pictures of the editor.
TO BILL BRASKY!!!!
My first thought, this guy has no clue what he's saying.
My second thought, there has been quite a delay in scheduling...

Roger Brown use to be on the Radio beat about 5-6 years ago.
He doesn't seem to realize that Temple is trying its hardest to get a football only membership, but the MAC office is playing the "all but nothing" card. The MAC office HAS the upper hand in this regard.
He also forgets that BG is already moving to the East. Adding Temple would create an imbalance, would it not?
Roger Brown is a fool.

OMG ... first I almost spit my coffee out as I read this, then I laughed so hard I almost wet myself. Could've been quite the doubleheader!TG1996 wrote:with a quick visit to www.rogerbrowntranslator.com, I came up with... To heck with Temple, and thats the nice way to put it. The team sucks. I still recall reading a lot of crude on their "fans" message board a few years ago, about how great they were going to be, and how shocked they were at dropping games to the MAC. The program needs to just simply go away.
I think its a mistake to even talk to them, let alone let them in the conference in any form.

I live in NW Ohio. Real reporting, were it to occur here, might strike us locally as though it were some form of alien life.
