Not having a home game in September is gonna suck. You get no warm weather game and don't get a chance to create a buzz for the team if it seems like they never play here. Having the home opener be the homecoming game is just wierd. Playing Miami and Toledo back to back weeks will be tough and probably decide the conference. Well maybe the schedule will still change, I hope.

This schedule isn't much better than last year. We had SEMO (DII school) on 9/11 and had to wait til 10/16 for our next home game vs. Ball State. As much as I love having Whisky and Boise St. on the sched. I can't help but think we could have done a better job scheduling a home game somewhere in between there.goofyeuph wrote:I agree with Saxy...I would hate this schedule if I was marching agian. I count no fewer than 2 "one week wonders". As a fan I'm not too happy about this schedule either...No home games in Sept??? wtf??? Someone dropped the ball somewhere...damn you marshall and UCF!!! :duh:
I went ahead and threw a wallpaper together featuring the schedule. If you want the 1024x768 or 800x600 version just drop me a PM or e-mail @ [email protected]. My photobucket site doesn't let me post the full version there. Here's a sample below:

Now, what kinda scares me right off the bat is Miami then Toledo back to back. Those are two tough games.

When did they drop the bgnet out of the email addresses at BG?
Unless you have a listproc with your username the bgnet is not needed.

Wow...4 home games in October. I gotta convince Mrs. Freak to head to Muncie in Sept. Miami is out due to a weeknight game but at least that one is on TV>
Buffalo is gonna be a nice trip...and in October. Kent State should have a ton of BG fans.
Let's get the season underway!
GO FALCONS!!!
Freak,
Are you heading up the tailgate party at Kent?
I am sure we might even out number the Kent State fans like in 2002
I will bring Jon and plenty of liquid refreshments to knock the chill off.
I drink therefore I am!

There's a slight difference. The best two to compare are Temple and Boise. I'd be glad to do a version with underline instead, just let me know.

The difference really isn't in the Capitalization, but really the heigth of the letters. But atleast the away games say "AT"
Anyway I like the design. However, the color seems a little red to me, but that just may be my computer, Or my eyes. (Color is in the eye of the beholder)

The Photobucket upgrade is not a bad little deal and I enjoy putting stuff up at whatever size I want.
all bowling green
I've looked into it, $5 is pretty cheap. Maybe this summer when I got more time to mess with Photoshop I'll drop the cash for it.
