Not only do I know the difference between the two, but I'm a science major, I actually like grammar, I'm a Tolkien fan, and a bandie....

Read some of my posts sometime. Then come talk to ME about being geeky.

Flicc,
Biology, chemistry, physics. I tend to believe that biologists are more worldly and practical, chemists (especially Bio chemists) tend to be pricks and physisits are truly geeks. Anyway, only ask cause I spent good amounts of time in Bio-building, plus I have lots of good contacts for the future if grad-school is in your plans.

Yeah, that geekiness only gets worse in him after he's been drinking too. Some of this afternoons posts by UK may reflect that.

Biology major, chem minor. (And English minor, just for fun.) Although, I hate chemistry for the most part. Grad school is in the plans, yes, though I'm looking to get an MD, not a masters or PhD. 8)

Some of my fellow English majors threatened to kick me out of the department when I was an undergrad because I worked out, wore a walkman, had a tan and often wore hawaiin shirts (they were cool in the 80's).

They were convinced I was a business major trying to pick up smart girls.

They realized I wasn't when those smart girls told me to take a hike. That convinced them I was one of them after all.

Erica, I can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel about my C-SPAN viewing knowing that I'm not the only one...

What none of the people around here realize is that you and I are the coolest people that frequent this board. I guess Freak can be in the group, too, but just because of Jake...

I'm proud of my C-SPAN habits. I bet we're way more informed about the votes on the floor today. :) (Nothing much happened, in case anyone was wondering. ;))

And yes, we ARE the coolest...

Okay okay i'm coming out here...i WAS a trekkie when I was 11 (and yes PGY that was not just last year but 7 years ago. ) I collected all those magazines, made the paper ships and hung them to my celing, had the communicator badge and everything. Then one day I'm cleaning my room and I see all this crap on my floor and I think to myself, "What the hell am I doing?!?!?!?!AGGGGGG!!" From then on it was cold turkey and I went back to my real passion, Cleveland sports. 8)
