I had to take a break from the blackjack tables, so I went for a little while. It's very entertaining. I mean, my friend really thought it was cool. Yeah, that's the ticket.goofyeuph wrote:I REALLY want to do that!!! I actually avoided that when the other two in my group went to see it. One guy wanted to see it bad, my g/f just wanted to support her friend. I on the other hand didn't want to spend $20 on something that would make me want to mash my brains in later, so I diddled around on the slots and came out 80 bucks or so richer.UK Peregrine wrote: Now, have you ever been to Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas. http://www.startrekexp.com/ Let's just say I know someone who visited it on their last trip to Vegas.

Apparently UK has something he wants to share with us, cause I thought that was a "females only" activity, if you get my drift.Warthog wrote:TG1996 wrote:Didn't you get arrested for that?UK Peregrine wrote: so I diddled around on the slots![]()

I've only been to Vegas once, and it was for work. However, we did stay in the Hilton. I didn't want to spend $20 on the darn thing, especially since I'm not even a Star Trek fan anymore. I haven't seen an episode in a long time, and have never seen any of the past 2 series (not since DS9).UK Peregrine wrote:Now, have you ever been to Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas. http://www.startrekexp.com/ Let's just say I know someone who visited it on their last trip to Vegas.hammb wrote:Oh yeah, well I've actually BEEN to a Star Trek Convention!

I did go to the Star Trek bar though when we were there, that was pretty sweet. My boss went in there and we were drinking all these wierd drinks that were smoking (dry ice) and colored beer, and stuff. We got pretty hammered before meeting the pres & vice pres to go out to dinner. All the employees in that bar are dressed in full costume, Klingons, Ferengi, etc. It was interesting, to say the least.

I was in high school. Cut me some slack. And again I remind you, the guy I am referring to is our mutual friend, Jason.Falcon30 wrote:No, just desperate.SaxyIrishTenor wrote:I dated a Trekkie once...
But I guess that just makes me stupid.

I went to it in it's original form like 7 years ago in Vegas. I like Star Trek, but I don't know the klingon language or anything.UK Peregrine wrote:Now, have you ever been to Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas. http://www.startrekexp.com/ Let's just say I know someone who visited it on their last trip to Vegas.hammb wrote:Oh yeah, well I've actually BEEN to a Star Trek Convention!

It was really cool. Innovative.
Now, when they get Stargate: The Experience, I will try that too.

Well, I had a Star Trek symbol on my band coat. AND even though I go by "Jake" my legal name is Jason.SaxyIrishTenor wrote:I was in high school. Cut me some slack.
