Did anyone else see this quote in the USA Today MAC report?

"I consider it a great honor to be on the same field as the Heisman Trophy winner. I told (White) after the game that I considered it a privilege to play against him." — BG defensive back Keon Newson on facing Oklahoma's Jason White

That's the kind of young man I like to see representing our school. Instead of thumping his chest with arrogant comments, he showed tremendous respect and class.

but our players are "clever". Folks want to believe we should be "honored" to be allowed to play on the same field with teams like OK, OSU, and Purdue. The real truth is that we are good enough to "deserve" to be on the same field with those teams.

Am I the only one that thinks White should have been saying that to Keon, and not the other way around?
