About the game!!

Post by Falcons4Life »

So...an update on the events that happened just prior to halftime!!!

Appearently the VP of someting or other saw us drinking, and decided that we should be arrested! We were not...we were simply kicked out, and the police were very nice about it! So...we did not get to see the second half, but we also got to not get cuffed! For all of those that were drinking and didn't get busted....CONGRATULATIONS!!! For those that we upset...I am sorry....and for those of you who got a good laugh...YOUR WELCOME!!! That about all...have a good day!

Stupid cops!?!? Sounds like they were awfully generous to me. I think its pretty obvious that drinking in the stadium is not allowed, and to simply be asked to drop the beer and leave compared to spending your Saturday afternoon in a cop car/jail, plus the fines and other ramifications afterwards is a damn good thing. And with all the scoring that went down in the first half, its not like there was alot missed, am I right? :?

Actually, the cops were cool.

Im just glad that not everyone with school spirit was forced to leave early. Nice to meet many of of you. I'll live without seeing any more of our defense. It was good seeing both of the QB's throwing downfield and meeting many of you deep-fried fanatics. Wont make it to all games in the fall, but cant wait until the games I actually make. GO FALCONS!!!!

Who's Going out tonite? LOL

I understand that the cops where just doing their job...doesn't mean I have to be happy about it. Should we have had the beer in the stand, proably not. Could things have happened a lot worse than they did, hell ya. Other than pissing off some VP who has his head up his ass, where we really doing anything wrong?? Yes we were drinking, but I believe that only those who were 21 were actually drinking in the stadium. We we're being obsecne, overly annoying or out of control. I think at the least what should have been done was either they confiscate the beer, or ask us to leave. I do think it was kinda cool that Frieddie tryed standing up for us. The cop didn't buy it, but it was worth a try.

Other than getting busted, today was GREAT!!!! It was great to meet some of the people who I've been talking with on this board for so long. I also loved getting to tailgate at BG for once. I loved being in the band, but now I know where the fun is!! My God, am I glad that I brought those oreo's!!! Damn those where good!!! I am looking forward to meeting up with you all agian during the fall! For those I didn't meet, I applogize. I was the one in the Falcon Fanatic shirt. For those who want to know where I got it, Freida threw it at me during one of the last basketball games. I spent three years professing my undying love for her and all I get is a T-shirt!! Oh well, It's better than nothing. Once agian, you guys are great, and can't wait for this fall!!!

Glad that the cops were cool with you guys. It sucked that they stole our beer...my question is how they decided who was going to get kicked out!? It was fairly obvious that there were about 10 of us drinking, and they took you guys?

Obviously we weren't supposed to have beer in the stadium, but its not like the security was real tight.

Sorry, no going out for me tonight, first sunburn of '05 and I'm beat. It was great to meet everyone that I haven't already met, and it was great to hang out wiith everyone again. It's going to be a long time before we get together again, so it was great to spend some time with everyone.

The Oreos were absolutely fantastic. I'm not sure who was the first to say something, but it was a good call. Battered & deep fried :) All the food was great, thanks to all who contributed, and I hope everyone enjoyed it. The candybars rocked Dayons! Too bad we didn't get any pizza rolls fried up, but what we had was good.

It was a great time, hope everyone else had as much fun as I did!
